"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

I pray everything is going well and you’re enjoying the goodness of the Lord. With children going back to school and vacation time over, seems like we’re getting back to our normal routine.  I wish we could get God’s children back in a routine of serving the true and living God the way people used to back several years ago. It seems like when people get out it’s so hard to get them back to where they need to be with the Lord. People years ago, wouldn’t let anything stand in their way of serving the Lord; they worked everything else around the things of God, but now it seems you have to try to work church around all the other activities. I know we have to do things with our children, family, and school, but we also have a responsibility to our Heavenly Father who saved us and gave us the instruction in His Word that we are suppose to be following. Yet in the day we are  living, it’s so hard to get people to be faithful to God,;everything else is more important than doing what thus saith the Word of God. I pray we’ll get back to living for the Lord and doing the things that are pleasing to Him and enjoying the good things of God once again. If we do, we would see happy people again. To God Be The Glory!!!

               Prayers Answered

God has blessed us with a busy month; we were in Chesnee, SC, Morristown, TN, New Castle and Knightstown, IN, our home church for the Friends of the Faith Fellowship and finished up the month attending some of the services at Camp Canaan in Nancy, KY. My wife had her bone scan, and it turned out good. She had 4 shots in her right knee, and it's doing better now.

1. Pray the Lord will open doors for meetings.

2. Continue to pray for our health.

3. Pray for safety traveling on the roads.

4. Pray for the financial needs of the ministry.

5. Pray for the meetings for the Lord’s will to be done.

6. Continue to pray for Kyle Rayburn as he continues to heal from his accident. He got to come home on Aug. 12th. Praise the Lord.
