"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

I pray this new year of 2015 has been a blessing to you and your church. I hope it has brought joy and rejoicing in the Lord and that you’re still receiving the good things from the Father above. James 1:17,”Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of light, with who is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” It’s good we still live in a country where we have the freedom to worship the true and living God and are able to preach the Gospel without anybody telling us what we can or can’t preach. But soon they may try to stop us. It seems our land is going the way that’s against the teaching of the Word of God and trying to get us to accept this modern way of life and get us to change our belief of the Bible. I’m thankful there’s a little remnant of God’s people left here in this wicked and evil generation that have made up their minds they’re not going with the ways of the world or going to change their walk with the Lord, even if it takes giving their life for the cause of Christ. AMEN!! Praise the Lord.

Prayers Answered

The Lord gave us a good month in March; we’re still not going much, just on Sundays. We were close to home the first of March and in South Union, Ky the second week. Two Sundays we were in Indiana in four different churches; on the 22nd we were at Colo Baptist Church where a lady was saved in the service, and in the evening service we were at our home church. God showed up and blessed, and we had one saved that evening.

Update on my wife: she is doing some better. Doctors have added another arthritis medicine that is helping with some of the pain. She has an appointment on April 16th to see about knee replacement surgery.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray the Lord will open doors for meetings.

2. Continue to pray for our health.

3. Pray for safety traveling on the roads.

4. Pray for the financial needs of the ministry. We had to have tires on the car replaced during the last snow storm costing $655.00

5. Pray for the Lord’s will to be done in the meetings.

6. Pray for Bro. & Sis. Dillard Cole and their health needs
