"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

Well three-fourths of this year has passed and  only three months are left of 2016. I never thought we would have gotten this far, but the Lord has left us here in this sinful, wicked world to let the Gospel light shine forth so that the sinners can have another opportunity to call upon the His name before He takes the Church out. The Lord is so merciful, gracious, and longsuffering: the people of our day continue to treat Him wrongly and follow after the god of this world, yet He still loves them and is waiting on them to call upon His Name to save them.  We don’t see too many getting saved in our day, but the Lord is still saving those that will come to Him. I pray we can be the witness we need to be so the lost could see the light and be saved before it’s too late. Are you saved?    John 3:16

Update on the mission project: we got one project done thanks to Bro. Ricky Rodgers, Bro. Andrew, Bro. Dale, Bro. Shane, the Barton’s, and Bro. Paul Siceloff and two men from his church Bibleway Baptist Church in Wilkesboro, NC. The other project will have to wait till springtime.

Prayers Answered

The Lord blessed us to be in some good services in the month of September. In some of the services the Lord’s presence was so powerful that I don’t see how the lost could set and see His power and not come to Him. The Lord blessed us to be in four different states and in 29 services in the month of September. What a great joy it is to serve an Almighty God and that lets us be a little part of His great work. Praise His Holy Name!! John
