"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

As I look back over 2016 I can see how the Lord has blessed us so much as we’ve tried to serve Him. We’ve seen the Lord save several people; Churches, Pastors and members encouraged, revived, stirred and rejoicing in the Lord. We were also blessed to preach meetings in some churches we had not preached in before, what a blessing to meet some of our family we’d never met before. We traveled over 30,000 miles, this past year, and were blessed to be in 243 services. We’re looking forward to 2017 to see what the Lord has in store for us to do and I pray the Lord will keep us busy. It would not have been possible without your prayers and financial support; for that we’re eternally grateful. All the souls that were saved and the ones that were helped and encouraged were fruits of your giving to the ministry. We want to thank those that sent money and cards for Christmas; it truly was a blessing to us and helped meet some of our financial burdens during December.

By the time you receive this letter, we’ll already be a few days into the New Year. I never thought that we would get this far in 2017, but the Lord has seen fit to let us live through the year of 2016 and blessed us to see this new year of 2017. What a joy to still be dwelling among the living. We pray you all had a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year thus far. We are excited to be able to get started in this new year and see what the Lord has in store for us as we try to do the Lord’s will for our lives.

The Lord blessed us to be in some real good services in December: on the 4th AM two good services at Kennard Baptist Church in Kennard, IN with a soul saved in the morning service, PM at Righteous Oaks Baptist Church in Wilkerson, IN. The 9-11 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in S. Union, KY. 14th preached at our home church, then took off two weeks to spend time with family and our church family. Finished out the month with a New Year Eve service at Calvary Baptist Church in Chesnee, SC.

Our schedule for January 2017: Jan. 1 Calvary Baptist Church Chesnee, S.C. Jan. 8th Faith Baptist Church in Goshen, OH. Jan. 12-15 Revival at Bible Way Baptist Church in N. Wilkesboro, NC. Jan. 22 New Hope Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA. Pastor praying about going on for a few nights more. Jan. 26-29 Mission Conference at Ridgeview Baptist Church in Walland, TN.

Prayer request are: 1. Pray the Lord will open more doors for meetings this year.  2. Continue to pray for our health, especially my wife’s. 3. Safety traveling. 4. Pray for our financial needs.  5. Pray for the meetings we’ll be in for the Lord’s will to be done. 6. Pray that the Lord will continue to give us His guidance as we travel along this way. 7. Continue to pray for our granddaughter, Laura, and her physical needs.
