"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

Well, the fall season has come, and we’ve already had a big frost. The leaves are now starting to turn their pretty colors; the beauty they bring to our eyes lets us know the God of Heaven is still on the throne and still in control and still able to do what He said He would do. AMEN!! I love this season and this time of year. Most of the churches have a fall revival this time of year, and it’s good to go into a church, start preaching, and watch the Lord begin to work on people and see their lives begin to change and draw closer to the Lord. What a blessing it is to see the beauty and blessings of the Lord in a revival meeting. The Lord is so good to us!! I read in Ps. 1:3 “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not whither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”  I don’t know about you, but I want to be like that tree the Lord talks about in that verse. I want to be fruitful, I don’t want to wither, and I do want to prosper in the eyes of the Lord. I pray you’ll let the Lord revive you so that you can be that person also for the Lord. AMEN

Prayers Answered

Thank the Lord for helping us in the meetings we had in September. It was a busy month for us, but Praise the Lord for keeping us busy for Him. AMEN!! We had services in KY, NC, TN, and VA. We saw the Lord’s presence in the services and people getting the spiritual help that they needed in their lives. We are continuing on our gluten free diet; it’s hard to do sometimes while on the road traveling, but it is helping us. The Lord continues to supply our needs and answer prayers for us.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray the Lord will open doors for meetings.

2. Continue to pray for our health, my wife is doing better, and I’m still going to chiropractor.

3. Pray for safety traveling on the roads.

4. Pray for the financial needs of the ministry.

5. Pray for the Lord’s will to be done in the meetings.

6. Continue to pray for the health of Sis. Hayes, Bro. Joel Creasman, and Bro. Charles Barrett.
