"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

I pray everything is going well for you and your church and that you’re enjoying the blessings of the Lord in this New Year. We’re already in the second month of this New Year; the Lord has blessed us to live and see another year come into existence. Sometimes during the winter months sickness, slick roads, and sin that people have let come into their lives have an effect on our services as we come together at the house of God.  But the Word of God teaches us in I Pet. 5:8 that we do have an adversary-an enemy-a deceiver-a liar that tries to hinder us from worshipping when we come together. It also tells us to sober, be vigilant because our adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour. I don’t have to tell you that satan is at work in this New Year, doing what God said he would be doing-trying to keep God’s people from going forward. Ph. 4:13 “I CAN DO ALL things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” It’s good to know our Savior is able to help us and give us the strength we need to keep on keeping on for Him. AMEN!!

Prayers Answered

We had a prayer answered that we had been praying for over 3 ½ yrs. We saw and talked to our son on Jan. 17. We had a good 2 hr. visit with him. Praise the Lord!!! We’ve had some good meetings this past month. With my wife’s sickness we have just been going on Sundays; in Jan. we were in Chesnee, SC, Morristown, TN, Wilkerson, IN, and at our home church. My wife is continuing her treatments; some days are better than others. She is trying to see an orthopedic doctor soon for a second opinion. Pray for us and all the medical expenses since we still do not have insurance.

2. Continue to pray for our health and medical expenses.

3. Pray for safety traveling on the roads.
