"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

By the time you receive this month’s letter, we’ll already come through the holiday weekend of what we call Labor Day. I don’t know how it was started but it seems very few people labor, most of them are off work and taking the last trip of the summer. But in the Lord’s work, most of His children are on a spiritual vacation, not too many are in the field laboring for the Lord. It’s not that we don’t have much to do or everyone is already saved, but according to the Word of God we are to be praying the Lord of the Harvest to send more labourers into the field. Luke 10:2 Therefore said He unto them, the Harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His Harvest. John 4:35 Say not ye, there are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. We should get busy laboring for the Lord and try to get as many harvest as we can for the Lord. We need to be praying Lord send more help. May God help us to be about the Father’s business.

Prayers Answered

The month of August was a busy month for us, we were in 32 services in 10 different churches and 5 different states. The Lord blessed in these services with seven people saved and others getting right and getting the spiritual help that they needed. What a blessing to serve the true and living God. I’m so thankful to be one of His children in His service.

1. Pray the Lord will open doors for meetings.

2. Continue to pray for our health, my wife is doing better.

3. Safety traveling on the roads.

4. Pray for the financial needs of the ministry and the mission work that will be done the last of September.

5. Pray for the meetings for the Lord’s will to be done.

Special Need- We are going to be doing some mission work and will  have people come from out of state to help. We need finances to help with the supplies. If you want to send something mark it for special need. ASAP
