"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Dear Pastor and Church,

By the time you receive this letter, we’ll be a few days into the new year of 2016, and 2015 will be history; we cannot go back and change one thing of this past year. But we can try to improve things in our lives by the help of our Lord and Savior and stay as close to the Lord as we can. James 4:8 says, “Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you”; that’s a promise from God. As I look back over 2015, I can see how the Lord blessed us so much and gave us everything we needed as we tried to serve Him. We’ve seen the Lord save several people; churches, Pastors, and saints of God have been encouraged, revived and rejoicing in the Lord. We were blessed to preach meetings in some new churches this past year also as we traveled 27,268 miles and were in 237 services. We didn’t get to go much in the last two months of 2015 because of my wife’s surgery, but we’re looking forward to 2016 to see what the Lord has in store for us to do, and I pray the Lord will keep us busy for His honor and glory. It would have been impossible for us to do all the Lord blessed us to do without your prayers and financial support each month, and we’re thankful for all that you do.

Prayers Answered

God has blessed us with some good services in December; we got to be at our home church some, and I got to preach at our Friends of the Fellowship meeting on Dec. 26th. I also was able to preach at a couple of local churches. We took our first trip out on Dec. 31st to preach a watch night service at Calvary Baptist Church in Chesnee, SC; my wife did well with the trip. We Praise the Lord she is doing better; she is still doing therapy. We thank you for all your prayers for us. Also, we thank Trish Perry for her help in designing our new prayer cards and the church for getting them for us. We are so thankful for our home church and Pastor.

Prayer Requests

1. Pray the Lord will open doors for meetings.

2. Continue to pray for our health and my wife’s healing.

3. Pray for safety traveling on the roads.

4. Pray for the financial needs of the ministry.

5. Pray for the Lord’s will to be done in our meetings.

6. Pray for our country.

Special Needs

Our health insurance went up $120.00 more per month and the bills from my wife’s surgery are starting to come in; so far we’ve gotten everything paid for except hospital bill of $2700.00 and others that are not in yet.

Ps. 54:2 “Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.”
