"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

MINISTRY UPDATE

I trust all is well and you’re enjoying the blessings of the Lord at the House of God where the Lord has placed you to serve Him. It’s seems we are living in the days the Bible speaks about of the falling away in II Tim. 3:1 where it says, This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. I looked up the word “perilous” in my Strong’s and it said perilous in II Tim 3:1 means reducing the strength, to lower, let down, vacancy, dangerous, fierce, and furious. I began reading on in the following verses and I can understand a little better now why we have so many empty pews in our churches. Many of the so called saved people today have reduced the strength, lowered and let down the things of God and the teaching and preaching of the Word of God. Now everything has become more important than the House of God, God’s Word, and the things of God- now we have vacancies in our churches. It’s hard for us to have the services God wants us to have but I can now see why because of II Tim. 3: 1-5 lets us know what’s in most people’s heart and lives.  It’s dangerous when men are lovers of their own selves and pleasures more than God. But when they get tired of their sin and turn back to God then we’ll see revival, but until then we’ll be in perilous times. Keep looking up the Lord could come at any time. AMEN!!
