"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

MINISTRY UPDATE

As I look back over 2017 I can see how the Lord blessed us so much, gave us everything we needed as we tried to serve Him. We’ve seen the Lord save some people; churches, Pastors, and saints of God encouraged, revived and rejoicing in the Lord. We were blessed to preach meetings in some new churches this past year, and for that we’re thankful for prayers answered. Traveled 31,429 miles and was in 261 services.  We’re looking forward to 2018 to see what the Lord has in store for us to do and I pray the Lord will keep us busy for His honor and glory. It would have been impossible for us to do all the Lord blessed us to do without your prayers and financial support each month, and we’re thankful for all that you do. We’ve lost some support this year, and we’ve seen some increase theirs, the Lord always makes it meet the needs that we have.  Thank you for all the cards and Christmas gifts that you sent to us we appreciated them all very much. It always helps with the end of year expenses that we have of property taxes and insurance on vehicles and house.

We were blessed in December with some good services: on the 3rd AM with Whitley City Second Baptist Church in Whitley City. Ky. PM preached at home church. On the 10th we were supposed to be with Colo Baptist but was cancelled due to weather. We visited with Old Fashion Gallahar Baptist in Kingston, TN then on PM preached at Oaks Hill Baptist Church in West Jefferson, TN. On the 17th AM Bible Independent Baptist Church in Burkesville, KY.
