"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

By the time you receive this month’s letter, we’ll already come through the holiday weekend of what we call Labor Day. I don’t know how it was started but it seems very few people labor, most are off work and taking off for the last big trip of the summer. But in the Lord’s work it seems most of His children are on a spiritual holiday weekend every weekend because not too many are in the field laboring for the Lord. It’s not that we’ve done all of our labor or work because there is so much to be done for the Lord. Luke 10:2 Therefore said He unto them, the Harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest, that He would send forth labourers into His Harvest. John 4:35 tells us about the same thing the harvest is great but there are not enough laborers, the fields are while already to harvest. So we need to be working for our Lord, the Lord did not save us to sit but He saved us to serve. What a blessing it is to be able to labor for our Lord and Savior. Praise His Holy Name!!

We’ve been busy this past month. We’ve been in some good services in the month of August. We were blessed to be in 24 services and I preached 13 times and travel 2770 miles for the Lord. We were in 3 different states several times. The Lord has been good to us. AMEN! My wife had the ice blocks done on her knee and it did not work, it still is hurting her and having trouble walking on it. They offered another procedure and I don’t know if we’ll get a second opinion to see what another Dr. says about it. Please pray about the situation and they can find out something that will help her knee.
