"...Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." ~II Timothy 4:5~

Evangelist James Lockard

Preaching Revivals, Tent Meetings, Camp Meetings, Missions Conferences, and Helping Pastors and Missionaries

Brother and Sister Lockard joined our church in October 2000 after he preached a homecoming revival for us. They have proven to be a great blessing to our church and a sincere friend to this pastor and his family. They are greatly missed when the call of evangelism takes them away from us, but we benefit from their presence when they are home, as I am sure you will if they are with you.

Since Brother Lockard started preaching in September 1981, he has gained pastoral experience and has been in evangelism since March 1991. He understands the burdens, the battles, the boldness, and the blessings of the pastorate as well as the tears, the trials, the temptations, and the triumphs of the people in the pews.

I highly recommend Brother Lockard for a revival, tent meeting, or special service. His love for the Lord and ultimate desire to please Him is what motivates his faithfulness to service. He will come to be a help and not a hindrance, a blessing and not a burden; you will be refreshed with his fellowship and revived with his preaching.

Looking for that Blessed Hope,

Pastor Timothy J. Perry

Recent Prayer Letter from Evangelist Lockard:

Well, we are a little late again this month getting the letter out so we are going to put two months together in this letter. I’m so thankful the Lord is never late or early but right on time! Amen. Praise the Lord. I remember reading in John 11:1-45 when Lazarus was sick and his sisters sent for Jesus, He tarried in the same place for 2 days and then went. When He arrived Martha was telling Jesus if you had been here our brother would not have died and then Mary told him the same thing. Even though He was four days late to them He did the impossible and brought Lazarus back to life, He was right on time!!  I’m sure thankful we serve a right on time Savior that knows what He’s doing and is still in control! Next time you think Jesus is late read John 11:1-45 and you’ll know He’s not late, He’s working something bigger and better than we ask for. Praise the Lord!!!

The Lord has blessed in the services we’ve been in this past month. On Easter Sunday we was in Cornerstone Baptist Church in S. Union, KY. On the 6-8 we went to Island Ford Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY to surprise Bro. and Sis. Kalnbach and with the church in their radio marathon. I preached on the radio Sat. and then preached in the morning service at church; the Lord really blessed in that service with 6 saved and others getting the spiritual they needed. Praise the Lord!! Then on the 15th with Solid Rock Baptist Church in Andrews, NC, the 22nd at Righteous Oaks Baptist Church homecoming in Indiana and on Sunday night at Charity Baptist Church in New Castle, IN. Finished up at our home church.
